Pros
-Diverse project type and markets - allows for smoother sailing during economic downturns.. -One of the key goals of MSA is to be a nationally known regional design practice,and not be a commodity driven firm. -Growing national / regional sports design practice (MSA Sport) is creating opportunities across the country and making waves in that sub-set of the architecture design industry. -Successful growing second (Columbus) office. -Great people, many of whom have been with the firm for most/all of their careers - the partners and senior leadership have all come "from within". -Good company outings and activities. -Not a typical "stoic" office environment - "respectful irreverance" makes things fun.
Cons
-Less structured than most larger/mid sized firms - if you are not entrepreneurial and a "take charge" kind of person you may struggle to find your way here. -Lack of daily hand holding and direct guidance can be challenging- this can also be an atribute depending upon your work ethic & personality.
