Pros

- Remote: fully remote and has an international team - Manager-less: very flat organization and everyone owns their own work - Management group is very approachable - Helpful environment: very helpful and friendly teammates when you have questions and concerns on projects - Encourages employees to learn and grow in skills: internal forums and chat networks for learning resource and knowledge base (still growing) - Data projects from a wide range of industries - Modern data stack usage

Cons

- No benefits - Most teammates are contractors: may or may not be a con since some people don't mind - Ambiguous growth direction: flip side of manager-less organization. The company seems to be trying to figure out a clearer standard on this, but it is still unclear as of now - Ambiguous compensation standard: comes with having an ambiguous growth direction

Pros

100% remote, no travel - this is a HUGE pro for me. The small company size means lots of interaction with C-suite, usually providing multiple, unexpected learning opportunities. I also get the chance to jump in on various internal and client-facing projects - this variety of work keeps me engaged and challenged, and always learning.

Cons

There is no 401k company match, which is a little disappointing.

Pros

Mammoth is one of a kind in its offerings, expertise and position in the market. I've learned more during my time at this firm than in years at other firms. The team is super knowledgeable and willing to support you. The leadership team has their own style, but they are direct, to the point, always open to feedback and ideas, and laser-focused on growing the business. Fully remote, no micromanagement, endless opportunities for growth. I love working for Mammoth!

Cons

It's a fairly flat organization which means you can carve your own path and really take ownership of your personal development, based on what you want to be best at -- this requires a level of comfortability working independently which isn't always a pro for some people. Benefits could be expanded, but for the size of the firm I think it's adequate for now.
