Man Crates Response
7yThe reviewer is right that things this last year have been bumpy. We’re a startup doing hard things, and progress often comes in fits and starts - and that’s certainly been the case recently. We recently had to say goodbye to several people we care about and respect. It was painful both for the folks that were laid off as well as the folks that remained. The strong feelings that frequently accompany such a transition are certainly understandable. Transitions often bring into focus the reality that we’re walking a narrow, steep path on the way to doing something new. At times, that path widens and life becomes effortless. In those moments it’s easy to fall into complacency believing that we’ve “made it”. But, inevitably, that path narrows again. And it’s in those narrowing moments that I’m especially grateful for the resilience, fortitude and perseverance that our team shows on a regular basis. It’s humbling to know that they’ve chosen to spend part of their lives working to delight our customers and build the kind of company we all want - especially when the path again grows narrow and steep.
