Pros
Manpower provides a great learning environment, and offers bonuses based on specific targets. In addition, the non-compensation benefits provided, such as educational advancement and career growth, are also a great draw to the company.
Cons
The location where I worked was not sensitive to the needs of its employees, and was only concerned with the bottom line. Many times the upper level managers were not familiar with what was being required by the local/regional managers, and the requirements didn't always fall in line with Corporate guidelines. During my one year tenure, I was informed three times that the branch "may not be able to continue to support my position." Having this feeling of instability can be detrimental to an employee's feeling of worth.
