Pros

401K match up to 6 percent. Pay and benefits were the only decent things there

Cons

To many lazy people that do want to work and when you bring it management s attention they look down on you and treat you like you are the problem. They sweep everything under the carpet and do not want to deal with problems. If you are a yes person and do not say what's on your mind and you are buddy , buddy with the leads and higher up echelon then you will go further in the company. You have to watch what you say as if you say one word out of place you will get reported to the front office and if they do not like you they will find a way to get rid of you. I have seen people hit something with a forklift and never had to for a drug test while someone other people had to go. To much favoritism and discrimination. Your yearly merit raise is not only based on your performance but also based on your social behavior. For example if you said the wrong thing to your lead or even another lead in another department and it did not sit right with them you will be denied your merit raise as toward the end of the year they sit all the leads down and they vote in who should not get their merit raise. I have seen people not get their merit raise just because they were out on medical leave or had to take a leave of absence. To me that is monetary discrimination maybe that is something that could be brought up to the EEOC'S attention. I have seen people denied FMLA that needed it to take care of a loved one and they were with the company for long enough to have earned it but were denied and they say care about family . But yet there are others that get approved for FMLA every year. They have their Five Principals that supposedly they live by and management jams it down everyone's throats but management only lives by them when it suits them for what they want. Two twelve hour day shifts then two twelve hour night shifts in the same week. Mars says you work four days then have have four days off but if you sit down and think about it at best it only comes out to approximately two days and eighteen hours. I guess in the Mars Wrigley candy world there are eight day's in a week. Your pay varies every two weeks, one week you get more then the other two weeks you get less. You get paid every two weeks. On shutdown leads are lazy and do not check to see what has been done by the previous shift and if you get stuck behind a lazy shift then your shift has to work extra hard to get things up and running. Human Resources will always side with the leads and management at all costs. I could go on and on here but there is so much to write it is just not worth any more of my time. I have worked a long time in food production industry and this is by far the worst place I have ever worked for.
