Pros
The people are the biggest pro at Mediaocean. This is evident by the strong relationships that exist not only within the company but also the ones that have lived on with coworkers from the past, now leading to strong client relationships. If you are looking for a friend for life, this might just be the place for you. There is always something new going on at Mediaocean. Whether its a new product, a new acquisition, or just a new week, Mediaocean has something going on. This is both a pro and a con in many ways. Mediaocean Support is everything an employee would look for when building a career. They have established an extremely fun, productive, and satisfying community within Mediaocean. The team prides itself on giving opportunity and promoting from within while growing the next generation of leaders. In my opinion it is the gold standard of the company in many ways. Mediaocean also throws some amazing parties. There is a summer event and a winter event and they are always a great time. You have a voice here. If you have an idea, you should mention it. Everyone's opinion counts at Mediaocean and you may even make the company stronger accidentally by speaking up. Shy people beware, this an extrovert party. Mediaocean is very much in favor of growing the footprint of women in tech. They are not shy to push forward the best person, regardless or gender.
Cons
Some of the smaller offices feel left out on occasion, due to infrequent visits from management. The company runs too lean. People working over-capacity isn't uncommon, making it difficult to juggle multiple responsibilities. Mediaocean isn't good at sunsetting old products which leads to a lot of knowledge gaps on lesser used products. To the same point, there are several products that do the same exact thing, some less effective than others. Time to consolidate.
