Hi! Thank you for sharing your perceptions here on Glassdoor. I am happy to see that you have enjoyed our flexible work from anywhere program, worked on exciting MedComms projects, experienced a strong and warm company culture, and feel that you were onboarded properly and professionally! I can imagine that for someone starting out in the agency world, it can be tough to get used to tracking your time. The reality is that this is important for most, if not all, professional services providers. We are however clear about this already during the interview process, so that anyone joining our team knows that this is part of the job. We are also supportive in helping new joiners to get used to this, and to ensure it does not become a stressful experience. I am sorry to hear that this didn't work out as intended in your situation. For anyone reading this review, please make sure to have a look at this article I wrote about our company culture: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/our-journey-cultivate-great-company-culture-wesley-portegies/

Pros

Nice people, can be a fun environment depending on who you report to, and more important, which office location

Cons

Overbearing upper management, who are not necessarily expert level in their roles, particularly the "c suite". For anyone who has interacted with a real CEO/COO, the experience gaps will be glaring. There are moments of generosity but mostly it's a battle to get the leaders to pry open the coffers and pay well, or follow through on promises. Apparently, any extra profit is conveniently "re-invested" back in the company, so don't hold your breath for a bonus, no matter how hard you work. I have witnessed employees being treated poorly based on personal perceptions rather than professional competency. There are truly incompetent people who are untouchable, and there are truly hard workers who can't get traction. There is an overall lack of integrity in how employees are treated. I was lied to several times in the hiring process, all of which came to light after I accepted the position - it set the tone and it unfortunately didn't get better. For anyone considering joining... a small company with so much turnover is a red flag, so while there are good things here, proceed with caution and keep your eyes open.

Thank you for leaving your review here on GlassDoor, and I am sorry that this is how you have experienced your time at our company. While I am the first one to admit that leadership is a lifelong study, being one of the fastest growing MedComms agencies in the world also indicates there are many things that we are doing really well. As we are promoting a culture of transparency and openness, we have structured bonus plans in place that leave no doubt about how company success is translated into additional compensation. We understand that our staff are at the core of our success and we are always working hard to see how we can be the best company to work for in all perspectives, including compensation. While you mention a high turnover rate, we are actually tracking far below the industry average. We would not want anyone to leave our company because of the issues you are describing. Therefore, we continue to encourage people to speak up and either speak with their supervisor, our HR department, and/or myself if there are any issues, so that they can be addressed.
