      Pros

      Medtronic under the leadership of Geoff Martha has gone down the gutter. After almost 9 years at the company, everybody I know wants to leave and is looking for a way out. You just need to look at the last Pulse results.

      Cons

      That said, MDT is still a behemoth that offers good pay, great benefits and stability. If you are in a role you enjoy and have not been massively hit by the reorgs and layoffs, I would stay put.

      -Terrible healthcare benefits -Layoffs and site closures from constant restructuring -No company vision -Lacking product vision and coherency -No desire to explore new technologies or ways of doing things -Extreme penny pinching & constant travel restrictions
