My department has great teamwork and decent training for newbies.
Cons
Very poor work life balance due to scheduling. Did not disclose the requirement to work 3 holidays. Required to work every other weekend. If you request your weekend off it’s very rarely approved & we are encouraged to find out own coverage. Which is impossible as not body wants to work extra weekends. This results in many call offs & receiving calls on your days off to see if you can work extra.. Company seems to employ a lot of traveler staff who does not know out policies & is getting paid more than twice what we make, including weekend differential! -very unmotivating.
