      Less Learning. Less chances for advancement. Favouritism The company is mostly looking for third party vendors to handle critical work You need to fill sheets showing what you did in 8 hrs. You cannot grow technically more here in IT department.

      -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

      Cons

      -Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
