Pros
I’m 22 yrs old and this is my first job out of college and while I’ve only been here just shy of a month I’ve loved the work culture, client work and being part of a larger parent company that is Marsh & McLennan.. I feel like I’m already becoming apart of this cohesive group, making new friends and picking out my mentors that will help me in my journey as a professional -dynamic, exciting work environment -great coworker relationships -my starting salary was a decent bit more than I was expecting out of school which is great -client work is both rewarding and challenging -401k fixed and matching contributions are outstanding
Cons
-unless you’re super passionate about HR or benefits you may be not be super fond of the work that is done on a day to day basis -you may have many projects thrown at you in the beginning with the potential for a lot of the dirty work like contract reviews, peering, etc. -benefits package excluding retirement plans aren’t great as I’ve been told which is ironic for a firm consulting others on their benefit package structures
