A small but growing team means that you can bring more than one hat to your job if you like: strategist/designers, designer/developers, and developer/writers all can find a place here. It also means there’s a lot of room to help shape and evolve processes and workflows, and to make your role your own – good ideas can truly come from anywhere and leadership is receptive to new perspectives and experimentation.

Small teams also mean that you often need to independently own your particular area of expertise on a project, and your colleagues will be looking to you to manage your own deadlines and tasks. This could be a con for those who prefer to have a hands-on manager, or a serious pro for those who thrive with that level of autonomy.
