Pros

Amazing product roadmap with a push towards Self Driving Cars and Machine learning. The startup culture and speed at which the company aligns towards new markets is commendable.

Cons

Do not get into QA. The amount of bureaucracy you will face is surely going to bring the morals down. Its as if being in a dictatorship with folks in upper management trying to control the way you work. Micro managing every aspect of your life and penalizing you for a simple report having an unapproved Subject line. The HR does not bother as the folks who are responsible for the mess are too high in a position to be replaced. Heavy attrition of skilled folks leading to a dilution of talent. And suppressing the talented folks from growing in the Org is clearly visible. Management cooks up data to show otherwise like nobody's business and those who can resolve this are usually hogwashed into believing the data is factual. At the end of the day, the real engineers are too afraid to come out openly on all the micro management as they are torn between working on cutting edge technology and dealing with their Managers

Pros

Fantastic work culture, great work life balance. People are genuinely excited about what they are working on and the projects are cutting edge. Unlimited tokens (for now at least). Flexible hybrid policy, and easy to take PTO. Leadership is very forward thinking, for a large company there's a lot of sense that employees matter. No layoffs in almost 20 years. Food is pretty good and subsidized. Great benefits, and competitive compensation especially for hardware roles.

Cons

Only minor gripes - currently no gym, and the parking is very limited at HQ. This is being addressed, but won't be completed until 2028. Company has been growing faster than the offices, so there aren't enough desks for everyone. Slightly inconvenient when you can't get a temp desk where you need, but most of the time it's no problem.
