Pros

1. Great Compensation: stock at all levels (RSUs), great SPP, great 401K, great retirement savings opportunities. 2. Great Benefits: Health care including Optometry is virtually free for employees. Dental coverage is excellent compared to other companies in same market. 3. CEO has amazing vision and is actually trying to make the world better by open sourcing AI technology for Medical, Autonomous Vehicles, Virtual Reality Robot Training, awesome developer kits: Jetson, Xavior, Pegasus, etc. 4. Work Flexibility: I can work where I want and mostly when I want. Teams are distributed so can work from home easily. 5. Choice of work assignment: If I don’t like my manager work assignment, I can easily switch. There are usually > 1000 open reqs. 6. Great Continuing Education opportunities: Can even get Stanford tuition and fees paid in many cases, Certificate programs supported, Management has mandate to discuss individual development plan and assist in making it happen. 7. Growth comes from investing resources in new technologies and constantly innovating. 8. When we have a bad business quarter/year, projects, hiring, and expenses get cut, but employees are retained, even in the aftermath of Cryptogate. 9. Infrastructure and services are a priority and are tasked to continuously improve.

Cons

1. Have to do your own Linux/Android/MacOS system management. Contract IT very good, but only supports Windows. 2. Difficult to get hired, but once you do, you’re valued as an individual, not just as part of “Headcount”. 3. Managers sometimes overworked or have too many direct reports. 4. Not a good place to "learn the basics", you must be highly competent in all aspects of your profession to work here.

Pros

The product security organization has a very ideal work-life balance. The culture is strong on ownership and trust. There is a good sense of pride and collaboration across teams with low level of politics and high sense of "the project is the boss". Compensation is good for the roles. Merit increases and promotions are mostly transparent, but can vary from manager to manager.

Cons

Leadership direction can be whiplash at some times. Some initiatives feel directionless, while others feel misguided. Leadership does respond to push back and listens to employees though, but it often feels like managing up.
