Pros

You learn a lot about digital marketing. But at what cost?

Cons

Narrative has a pattern that I witnessed time and again. If you do good work and play the game, you’ll climb the ladder quickly. But if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. At some point, you will fall out of good graces. The CEO listens to his favorite employees’ gossip and immediately takes it as fact without properly investigating or addressing issues. And once that bug has been put in his ear, he and his few favorites will make your life miserable and will constantly threaten your future at the company. Their favorite “motivational” tactic is to gaslight you into believing your work has slipped when you’re not doing anything differently from when they were promising you promotions the month before. Turnover is insane. People are constantly quitting. Like several people a week quitting. And it’s not a huge company. And they cover it up to their current employees by saying they were fired or were asked to leave because they “weren’t a good fit”. The CEO is incredibly reactive, and will do things like change the structure of his entire company without consulting anyone. It’s also very obvious who his favorites/favorite teams are. He would plan happy hours with every team but 1 or 2, because he “didn’t think it was important to get to know them”. I have to think that most of the positive reviews are from people who haven’t been there for more than a few months. Because anyone who’s been there longer than that has since learned the ugly truth about this place. The negative effects of this company have persisted even after I left. I’ve since found out that the CEO threatened my current employer. I left months ago, and I’m still scared of them. There was more to this review that I cut out, because I want zero chance of them figuring out who I am. But the summation is: I read the negative reviews, thought they were from the typical begrudged former employees, and chose to ignore them. I promise you, the negative reviews are all very accurate and very justified. Don’t make the same mistake I did. The pay isn’t enough, the experience can be gained elsewhere, and your mental health will not survive here. Please, if you have any respect for yourself at all, do not fall for it.

Thanks for the review and sorry you didn't have a good experience. However, you did violate your employment contract and try to recruit from our team on behalf of your new employer. Our attorney have had to reach out to them to stop this from happening and we were simply upholding our contractual rights. We understand why you may be upset over this but we suggest that you uphold your contractual obligations in the future to avoid this type of incidents from happening again.
