Pros

none at all - wish I could rate a 0 to be honest

Cons

I don't even know where to begin... I as well as many others like me have been fired because we "weren't a great fit" our work was great but we just didn't fit in with those who were close and popular with the CEO. The amount of people who would come and go at this company because the turnaround rates was ridiculous. There is absolutely no training or any structure. The only thing you can be sure of every week is the 5pm Friday "shot o clock" where you can expect the CEO to join in as well as everyone else who peer pressured you into drinking. I was expected to take on roles outside what I was hired for. The entire casting department quit or were pretty much forced to quit and other departments were fired because they were supposedly getting rid of that department but then I was taking over in those departments. I was overworked and underpaid. If you get luck they'll fire you over a 1 min phone call but for others... you get fired in a glass conference room in the middle of the office ( I watched this happen multiple times) This was supposed to be my dream job instead it just became a place of stress, fear, and anxiety. Nobody here lasts over a few months. Trust me when I say.... RUN!!

This review contains a lot of false information and was clearly written by a disgruntled employee who was recently let go. Sorry that everything didn’t work out here. We do not "peer pressure" our team into drinking but we do have happy hour events. And yes, Shot O'Clock is a tradition we have on Friday at 5pm. It's obviously optional but it's when we celebrate promotions and thank the team for their hard work. It's fun and almost everyone participates even if they don't drink. We also do a lot of other team building activities and our team have a blast :) We are sorry that you were unable to do the job and unable to show up to work. There are certain standards that we expect from our employees that are required in order to service our clients and we value our clients tremendously. If those standards are not met, we simply have to make the hard decision to part ways. Please reach out to Amanda P. at HR if there’s anything else you wish to discuss. Best of luck.

Do not fall for it

Pros

You learn a lot about digital marketing. But at what cost?

Cons

Narrative has a pattern that I witnessed time and again. If you do good work and play the game, you’ll climb the ladder quickly. But if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. At some point, you will fall out of good graces. The CEO listens to his favorite employees’ gossip and immediately takes it as fact without properly investigating or addressing issues. And once that bug has been put in his ear, he and his few favorites will make your life miserable and will constantly threaten your future at the company. Their favorite “motivational” tactic is to gaslight you into believing your work has slipped when you’re not doing anything differently from when they were promising you promotions the month before. Turnover is insane. People are constantly quitting. Like several people a week quitting. And it’s not a huge company. And they cover it up to their current employees by saying they were fired or were asked to leave because they “weren’t a good fit”. The CEO is incredibly reactive, and will do things like change the structure of his entire company without consulting anyone. It’s also very obvious who his favorites/favorite teams are. He would plan happy hours with every team but 1 or 2, because he “didn’t think it was important to get to know them”. I have to think that most of the positive reviews are from people who haven’t been there for more than a few months. Because anyone who’s been there longer than that has since learned the ugly truth about this place. The negative effects of this company have persisted even after I left. I’ve since found out that the CEO threatened my current employer. I left months ago, and I’m still scared of them. There was more to this review that I cut out, because I want zero chance of them figuring out who I am. But the summation is: I read the negative reviews, thought they were from the typical begrudged former employees, and chose to ignore them. I promise you, the negative reviews are all very accurate and very justified. Don’t make the same mistake I did. The pay isn’t enough, the experience can be gained elsewhere, and your mental health will not survive here. Please, if you have any respect for yourself at all, do not fall for it.

Thanks for the review and sorry you didn't have a good experience. However, you did violate your employment contract and try to recruit from our team on behalf of your new employer. Our attorney have had to reach out to them to stop this from happening and we were simply upholding our contractual rights. We understand why you may be upset over this but we suggest that you uphold your contractual obligations in the future to avoid this type of incidents from happening again.
