Pros

Very welcoming company where people feel comfortable. Many caring individuals focused on helping consumers and each other. Flexibility to mold your role to meet the needs of the company & the business. For some, there is great leadership that is supportive & empowering. Consistent pay raises & opportunities to grow your skills.

Cons

Nestle continuously promotes poor leadership and refuses to hold them accountable for their actions. In 2024 Steve Presley, told everyone to leave while questioning employee dedication rather than the poor decisions of his leadership team. This was then mirrored by HR leadership to employees for months. There is inconsistency in the flexibility given to employees. For example, our forced return to work policy was announced right at the start of summer, with little to no flexibility, alienating working parents. When employees asked for flexibility, many were fired or told that if they pushed for remote work they would never be promoted again. Very little room to move up in the company. Don't expect a promotion before 5 years, even if you continuously get high evaluations/positive feedback. Very little focus on DE&I with the employee resource groups receiving little to no support. Mid (at best) total compensation. Like most large companies, there are a wide range of benefits available. That being said, they offer no form of student loan benefits, their premiums are higher than many other companies, and the pay is far lower than many other companies.

Pros

Strong brand name on resume, great work-life balance, benefits are good. Gym on site and pension available for those hired before this year. Turning it around financially as well. Global powerhouse.

Cons

It can be too big and too political. Hard to get decisions made because of how highly matrix it is. Pay is just okay. They need to reduce the amount of meetings, way too much.
