If you speak up about management issues, you get fewer lessons. You cannot be friends with the Japanese staff. They make you change your name if it's "too difficult to say."

Offices spread around Tokyo in cool locations, coworkers are kind and fun, expectations are clear and workload is fair. They sponsored a work visa for part time work which is very rare

The foreigners managing the teachers are abusive. Many are old western men who have been in Japan for a long time and seem to be very unhappy with their lives, and choose to take that out on others. It is not a happy place to work as a result of this. Scheduling is difficult to organize your life around because of timing confirmation. You will need therapy after working here.
