There are two interview stages. One with a local manager who will ask you about your background why you applied etc it usually lasts 30 minutes. The other is with a Japanese staff member where you will have to give a short lesson.

Question 1
They will make you perform a grammer test and explain a teaching assignment. It is relatively straight forward.

Interview
The company made me wait 25 minutes because the candidate before had not shown up. Then all they asked me was if I had a phone number. The company expects people to call in every morning to confirm that they are coming to work ... I can only imagine how motivated the other teachers must be.

Interview
I was invited to an interview. The man was very nice. It was pretty casual. It lasted about twenty minutes. He asked me about some personal things which was fine seeing as part of the job is being personable. He responded well to the fact I was asking questions and liked that I researched the company before the interview.
