Pros

There are genuinely talented and supportive colleagues who care about doing good work. The fast-paced environment provides opportunities to upskill quickly and gain exposure to many areas of a startup, which can be valuable early in your career.

Cons

The culture is highly unstable, with frequent turnover and very little job security. Decisions are made without transparency, leaving employees feeling uncertain and under pressure. Rather than fostering collaboration, the environment tends to create competition among team members, which is a shame. It’s a tough place to grow or feel secure in the long term.

Pros

Great colleagues to work with. Customers doing interesting work. Some work travel. Regular away weeks.

Cons

Poor personnel management, no development of personnel, high turnover. The CEO is not interested in improving the team or particularly improving processes. The hiring process is representative of the general running of the company with a culture of no care shown towards customers by management. Staff tenure averages less than a year. The company is organised in a 'flat' structure. This means no one has seniority, authority, or accountability. All conversations must be open and all decisions must be taken by the CEO. The level of micro management is very high. There is no training within the company so different people will complete tasks differently with no optimal solution. Priorities change weekly.
