Pros
**Pros No Longer Exist** When I started working for Orion there was a lot of promise. Benefits were good and options to work from home made the job enticing. You got to work with some of the smartest people in the industry and learn. A Job couldn't get much better. The Orion now is far from the place I started at.
Cons
Those smart people you could learn from are gone. Work from home has been removed. Morale is at an all time low. Currently there is more management than employees to do the work. Collaborative Cubicles are disruptive and there is no place to hear yourself think while solving an issue. There are so many degrees of separation in management its hard to be heard or accomplish anything of technical value. The 36 layoffs were so unprofessionally completed as we all waited at our desks for 3 tense hours to be laid off. The backlog was so great before the layoffs that most were drowning under the workload, now it seems impossible to get our heads up from the water with this latest reduction in workforce. Those that got laid off may have gotten the better end of the deal as those who are still there have a unmanageable impossible workload.
