Pros

-Views aren't bad. -There are some very nice, genuine people working there. -Certainly not a corporate agency (which can also be a con). -Occasionally dogs sneak-in and brighten your day.

Cons

-Incompetent leadership -Corruption -Misogyny -Cronyism -Revolving door in the HR Dept., which is weird even for agencies. -Revolving door in the IT Dept., which is also weird, even for agencies. -Finance Department that's led by a feckless wanna-be CFO. -No A/C in the mens room in an apparent attempt to save on costs - yuck. -Lack of any kind of culture, unless you count the consumption of alcohol and drugs to fuel an unsustainable pace of work. -Carpeting is disgusting, walls are dingy, dust galore, but hey, that's more money in the CEO's pocket. This is an ad agency, plain and simple. If you really need a gig and are willing to look past the insanity, go for it. But there are just so many other places to spend eight (or 18) hours a day. At some point you'll be shown the door, which is actually one of the only things they've perfected after having done it so often. When that day comes I suggest you think long and hard about signing an NDA for a measly amount of cash. Your replacement at least deserves a warning. A -3.0 score on Glassdoor is sad, but imagine if everyone who signed the NDA wrote an honest review.

Pros

Sharp, super nice people. Leadership was approachable and collaborative.

Cons

My direct manager offered no mentorship whatsoever (she was hired after I was). Our 1:1s were the biggest wastes of time as she never offered any valuable insights—she would nod and say “yeah.” Growth was non existent.
