Pros

-Views aren't bad. -There are some very nice, genuine people working there. -Certainly not a corporate agency (which can also be a con). -Occasionally dogs sneak-in and brighten your day.

Cons

-Incompetent leadership -Corruption -Misogyny -Cronyism -Revolving door in the HR Dept., which is weird even for agencies. -Revolving door in the IT Dept., which is also weird, even for agencies. -Finance Department that's led by a feckless wanna-be CFO. -No A/C in the mens room in an apparent attempt to save on costs - yuck. -Lack of any kind of culture, unless you count the consumption of alcohol and drugs to fuel an unsustainable pace of work. -Carpeting is disgusting, walls are dingy, dust galore, but hey, that's more money in the CEO's pocket. This is an ad agency, plain and simple. If you really need a gig and are willing to look past the insanity, go for it. But there are just so many other places to spend eight (or 18) hours a day. At some point you'll be shown the door, which is actually one of the only things they've perfected after having done it so often. When that day comes I suggest you think long and hard about signing an NDA for a measly amount of cash. Your replacement at least deserves a warning. A -3.0 score on Glassdoor is sad, but imagine if everyone who signed the NDA wrote an honest review.

Pros

This agency is composed of many talented individuals, from strategists to designers. The office space is rad, and you can't ignore the panoramic city views. Culture can be fun but you'll soon find out it's a mask for the relentless hours that everyone has to work. They say they care about their employees but they don't.

Cons

Employees pull crazy amounts of hours, late nights are a regular thing. Finishing at 3 am or pulling an all-nighter isn't a rare occurrence. Especially for the design team and project managers. This isn't your typical agency. More of a mom and pop join that you should stay far away from. Things are run a bit different here. They do what they what when they want. The finance department are pulling the strings behind closed doors. They speak highly having a great work culture, but it's more of a frat house. Very top heavy. Payroll goes to all the senior management, while the junior & midlevel get paid pennies. Toxic - Toxic - Toxic.

Pros

Company spends lots of money on its fancy office to keep up appearances

Cons

CEO is the biggest con Second biggest con is his ex wife, the COO CEO attracts attention by spending money around town and the world with his secretaries These women are moved up or out of the organization Not discussing client work is a smart tactic that allows company to claim any work as its own Clients believe this and give him an initial three months of work He discounts the work to get them in the door He destroys the entire company to deliver the work He then proceeds to get in the way of the work with his enormous ego He creates problems he can fix to look good in the eyes of the clients Being a fairly smart guy he buys himself more time in this way Eventually the clients find out that they have been swindled and leave the agency The work produced is mediocre at best
