Pros

There are no pros. A prime example of greed and unethical business practices. The company could care less about it's employees.

Cons

This company started many years ago as an unknown. They have stepped all over their dealers to get to a position they claim is equal or superior to Tiffany's. They give discounts to some of their dealers, but not all. They allow some of their dealers to sell online, but not all. They discriminate against many of their best accounts. In the beginning, they were willing to sell even to shoe stores. Now, they are very picky about who they will allow to carry their line. There was a time when they were hungry for business and allowed a store to carry the line for $2,000. Now, you have to buy $25,000 to get the line, and they tell you how to run your business. They tell you how to display, how to sell, what other lines you have to carry in your store, what you have to say to your customers, which products you have to carry, and they hire secret shoppers to make sure you are doing what they want. They have what they call national seminars to give you information on Pandora and supposedly to help you sell. But for the entertainment, they hire male pole dancers to charm the predominantly female audience. How cheesy and unprofessional. If you are a current dealer, start asking questions of other dealers on how you can stand up for your legal rights.

Pros

Easy scheduling, often works with vacations and time off requests to the best of ability including extended emergency time off, held jobs and re-hired as business allowed. Opportunities for monthly bonuses and commission on certain product; store manager does push for sales targets but also encourages and incentivizes wins and celebrations. Often brings snacks and drinks for the team. Contributed to a lot of the sales herself and always champions the wins for the store. Has won a few Pandora contests since I’ve worked there and taken the team out for events and fun activities to bond with, fill the fridge etc. Store manager is quirky but can tell enjoys the job. Would work here again.

Cons

Less room for advancement since it’s a franchise but always cross-training for future benefit

Pros

•Discounted Jewelry •That’s about it.

Cons

• Catastrophically high turnover rate (saw 4 different managers within a year) • Regional manager quit within a year as well •Will “write you up” for the smallest issues; “you were one minute late” • Condescending management • Manager cut hours after employees gave honest, kind constructive criticism that was supposed to be anonymous • Manager would unnecessarily search people. • Manager would change “rules” then write people up before giving anyone a chance to explain.
