Pros

Great benefits Wonderful co-workers (depends on your department)

Cons

low pay no training (all you do is read SOPs when you first start out) no career development (they ask you to indicate what trainings you would like to take to enhance job performance and absolutely no strides are made to get you this training) No structure or set procedures (everyone just does their own thing and there is no consistency between people performing the same tasks) Upper management has absolutely no clue as to what goes on with the actual employees who do the work. They just make these stupid decisions and changes and then everything falls apart. Then abruptly things are changed again and it's the same vicious cycle over and over again. They re-brand more times than I can count. There are way too many VPs at the moment. I completely lost track. Upper management people leave the company and come back a few months later as VP of this or that. I could go on and on seriously. If you are looking for a job where you can grow professionally look elsewhere because all you will get from parexel is bad habits that you don't want to take else where.

Pros

A few nice people. That's it.

Cons

"With Heart" is a joke. This company does not care about its employees. Those that have been there for a number of years seem to be brainwashed into thinking this culture is normal and that this company cares about them. Parexel likes to make employees feel like they are just lucky to be there. Senior Leadership lacks management and people skills and are quick to throw employees under the bus to protect themselves. Probably because for many of them this is the only company they've ever worked for. This accounts for the high school clique-like culture. The workload is ridiculous for the pay and expectations are constantly shifting. The only thing Parexel cares about is money. The company is overloaded with ridiculous metrics. It's practically all you will have time to do. The most miserable place I've ever worked.
