PCTY once truly listened to its employees and valued their feedback. Unfortunately, the company has shifted and now feels no different from the competitors we used to pride ourselves on outperforming in both service and technology. Several recent management changes have moved the organization in a direction we always said we would never take.
I left Paylocity on a high note after achieving President’s Circle for 11 consecutive years. I still believe in the technology, but the current executive leadership has created an environment that is driving top performers away. The internal conflict and lack of support have become increasingly difficult to ignore. It’s disheartening to see an organization once led with such vision transform into a workplace that feels toxic.
The first eight years of my career at Paylocity were life-changing. However, over the past three years, the company has revealed a different side…..one that no longer prioritizes the account managers and teams who make implementation and service possible, nor does it demonstrate the same level of care for its people.
Writing this is difficult, especially as a shareholder, but I ultimately chose to leave because the company I dedicated so much of myself to stopped valuing its employees. Paylocity was once ahead of the curve; today, it has fallen behind it.
