Pros

swanky office, aseptic environment, excellent HR practices till August 2012

Cons

Top heavy organization. Whimsical CEOs and upper management. CEOs and Directors come & go, some forecast unrealistic prospects and go on a spending spree making a fortune for themselves in the process, while others resort to extreme retrenchment tactics. The average employee continues to be at the mercy of their line managers. Leaves are there on records but you can't enjoy them. Superficial atmosphere. Incompetent managers who save their backs by blaming their subordinates. Highfliers don't give a rat's ass for what happens to the organization. They just treat it as a launchpad and milk it dry. The school editorial particularly the ELT department is full of unhappy hags and wenches who are busy scandalizing each other. The Higher Ed is dying. No more is there dignity at work. It has one of the best sales force in publishing and education services. But the company's policies like acquiring sick companies at high prices and shifting loyalties is weakning its very foundation.

Pros

When a project goes according to plan you can work with some great people and make decent money.

Cons

Bad behavior is tolerated when you have a weak team member. They are allowed to remain on payroll, even if they do not effectively contribute. The burden is often placed on the team members willing to pick up the slack. Promotions are not given to the most qualified. They are randomly assigned. There are some horrible scoring directors as a result.
