Job is ok, great for part time, flexible - Test Administrator/Proctor Pearson Employee Review

Pros

I like the fact that the schedule is pretty flexible, but could be difficult for someone who relies on a regular fixed income. Summer times bring typically more work hours, sometimes more than 30 hours a week and in the winter it might be 5-10 hours per week. Quiet and comfortable work environment, perfect for retired folks.

Cons

No job or career growth, no big salary increases. Job can be quite boring at times. Lots of rules to follow and leadership seems to be very stiff and not at all open to "review" from their employees. No benefits in part time.

Pros

When a project goes according to plan you can work with some great people and make decent money.

Cons

Bad behavior is tolerated when you have a weak team member. They are allowed to remain on payroll, even if they do not effectively contribute. The burden is often placed on the team members willing to pick up the slack. Promotions are not given to the most qualified. They are randomly assigned. There are some horrible scoring directors as a result.
