Pros

-Plenty of opportunities to learn because you'll probably be doing three jobs by the end of the year. -Cute dinosaur mascot. No notes.

Cons

-Watching a company with this much talent continuously step on its own rake has been…an experience. -The CE transformation? It has been spectacularly bad. Lack of leadership awareness. Lack of a plan. Lack of any pre-sales knowledge taken into account. Lack of listening skills. -Morale didn't just decline. It entered the chat, saw what was happening, and left. -Trust in C- suite is somewhere between "it's complicated" and "new phone, who dis?" -"Other companies are doing this" somehow became both market research and due diligence. Bold strategy Cotton. -Corporate gaslighting, but now make it AI-native. -Commercial AEs lapping Enterprise reps wasn't on anyone’s bingo card. Commercial deserves back surgery. -What used to feel like one of the best cultures in tech now feels like an organization running on bad vibes, buzzwords, and executive ego

Pros

Great people, challenging work, tons of room to grow if you’re willing to own outcomes. Smart, ambitious, creative ppl who care about customers and results. The pace is very fast which energizes ppl who like that. Strong performers can have outsized impact and make money. It is fun and you get a ton.

Cons

It’s super fast paced, priorities shift, and decisions won’t always be perfectly aligned. If you need constant certainty or everything to be perfectly bake and make sense for every pov, you’ll find it frustrating. But if you can figure things out, you can roll with change (cause that’s everywhere esp right now), this place is awesome. If you’ve never worked anywhere else or are comparing things to years ago - it’s not the same.

Pros

-great compensation once you surpass your quota- incentivized to be a top performer -Work/life balance is still considered important -the product is incredibly valuable and ever-evolving; there is no lack of innovation of the product -CEO genuinely cares for the company and the individuals -trust in the reps to know what is best for the company so you have the autonomy to operate in the way that you feel is best for the customer and for the company without incredibly stringent tools -I believe in the sales leadership that is place today and the direction that they are taking the company - they want us all to succeed. -great office and amenities -love my coworkers -sales leadership is open to feedback, even when it is incredibly busy -customers are incredibly happy with the product

Cons

-constantly changing priorities, which make Pendo not the right fit for everyone. You still have to get scrappy -it is a large product. If you are not willing to take the time to learn the product, this is not the right place for you. You need to know how to focus on value, and not expect simply a transactional sales process. You are not going to be spoon-fed, you must speak up when you are in need of additional learning opportunities
