Pros

1. Outstanding Learning Ground for Fresh Grads & Interns: This is a fantastic place to build your foundation. Unlike places where interns do paperwork, seniors here actively push you into the deep end by involving you in live projects. They are incredibly generous with their knowledge and always willing to mentor. 2. Vibrant & Approachable Culture: The work environment is genuinely fun and energetic. Colleagues are highly collaborative, and regular happy hours help everyone unwind. Management strikes a rare balance, they hold high standards and can be strict about project delivery, but they maintain a highly supportive, fun, and accessible attitude. 3. Prime City Location with Commuting Perks (Kuching Office): Being in the city centre means great food options and amenities nearby. More importantly, the office area offers multiple alternative routes, which is a massive lifesaver for avoiding heavy peak-hour traffic. 4. Medium Levels of Autonomy: You are given ownership of your work early on, which accelerates your professional maturity and problem-solving skills much faster than a typical corporate structure.

Cons

1. High Volume of Ad-Hoc & Fragmented Tasks: The environment is incredibly fast-paced, often to a fault. Last-minute requests and urgent, ad-hoc submissions pop up frequently, which can disrupt your planned daily workflow and require quick pivoting under pressure. 2. Lack of a Clear, Defined Career Path: While the learning curve is steep initially, the long-term trajectory becomes a bit blurry. There is a lack of a structured framework for promotions, salary increments, and clear milestones, making it hard to see where you stand after a couple of years. 3. Growing Pains in Internal Systems: As the company scales, some of the operational systems and workflows feel a bit outdated or manual, leading to unnecessary bottlenecks during peak project periods.

Pros

Bosses who care about us at work and in person. High level of trust and empowerment, making learning experience great! Impactful work content with the community. I've joined as a project executive and left as a manager. There's high level of trust that the bosses and managers placed on us, we get to learn everything from project management, to delivering training and dealing with clients, making us grow in very short time. The team is real fun too, there's fun activities organized regularly, we go lunch together, annual dinner, annual trips to overseas & Club Med, long break at the end of the year. No workplace is perfect, but PSC definitely has been a great family for me, a time I will always remember, a place that made me a better person today both personal and work skills. The job is not easy as we are working with the community but definitely rewarding.

Cons

Workplace environment can be improved. Workload is hectic but it’s all part of learning curve.

Pros

PSC was my first job after completing my degree, and I’m grateful that it gave me a strong foundation to start my career. As a fresh graduate, I was trusted with real responsibilities instead of just routine tasks, which helped me gain confidence and grow professionally. The working culture is supportive and collaborative. My colleagues and managers are approachable, willing to share knowledge, and always encourage learning. I had the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that allowed me to develop skills in communication, project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving. What I appreciate most is that PSC values employee growth and gives you the chance to step out of your comfort zone. If you're proactive and willing to learn, you'll be exposed to different experiences that help you develop both personally and professionally. The flexibility, teamwork, and purpose-driven environment make it an enjoyable place to work.

Cons

As the company continues to grow, I hope PSC can continue investing in employee support by providing better work resources, such as company-issued laptops or PCs for employees whose roles require them. Having dedicated work equipment would improve productivity, make it easier to work efficiently, and help maintain a better separation between personal and work devices. Additionally, having more structured career progression, regular feedback sessions, mentorship, and training opportunities would further support employees in their long-term professional development.
