Pros
I joined the company as someone who really wanted to get better at film making and creative in general. Most of us at perspective are editors, which is the epicentre of all filmmaking. Therefore with the right attitude I was really able to push myself and become better at the skill. As someone who is a complete rookie, it's hard for me to get hired elsewhere. Perspective frequently takes talented passionate filmmakers and provides them with opportunities that otherwise wouldn't be available to them.
The company culture is second to none. It's really different to your ad agency where I had experience on the account management side of things. The structural hierarchy doesn't translate to when we all hang out socially, which we do often as a group. It feels like a group of mates doing work together, which is really unique for an institution that works with clients as big as theres.
Cons
As with any growing startup there are teething problems. Almost everyone at the company had the right attitude towards the growth barring the odd individual.
