Pros
Young team so it can be a lot of fun at times. Good opportunities to work on fun projects. I personally had a lot of creative freedom when it came to creating work which I was very grateful for! 'Unlimited Holiday' policy (though there are some downsides to this)
Cons
I think the biggest issue was working long hours and really low pay for industry standards. I would say that the majority of the team earns between 20k-14k and this includes graduates and some people with extensive experience and aged between 19-25. There were a couple of us who generally had an average of 12 hour days and 'overtime' or work over the weekend were not paid for. A lot of the time employees would work into the early hours of the morning - (some on or into their birthday's as well) I've also had senior leadership make contact with me over WhatsApp during late at night regarding projects which can be quite anxiety-inducing. There aren't huge amounts of room to progress - granted it is a small company at the moment - however, there isn't much talk of what roles look like further down the line and there is often the promise of progression and pay rises but often just stops at a conversation and there isn't any movement or action plans going forward.
