Pros

The diversity here is really great. It's been really great to work with all kinds of folks. The average associate is really pleasant and nice. There are tons of amenities, childcare, gym, etc.

Cons

There are noticeable challenges with leadership consistency and long-term direction. Teams can be under-resourced, and priorities often shift, which can create confusion and inefficiencies. Decision-making can feel fragmented, especially across departments, and there isn’t always clear ownership of systems or processes. The culture is very results-driven, which can sometimes come at the expense of collaboration and recognition. It’s a good place to gain experience, but growth paths and organizational structure can feel unclear depending on the team. Often leadership can be vindictive, and fall on mean office politics that often exclude people who just want to work. Favoritism is rampant and if you do not make the cut you are subjected to even poorer communication, conflicting orders, or just straight public humiliation.

Pros

15% off whole store 50% proprietary brands Petting animals Friendly customers Almost never declines requested days off

Cons

Must have min one weekend day available No room for growth very hard to become full time Must make requests a month in advance even thought the schedule come out Thurs/fri for the following week, shifts can be unpredictable Coworkers with seniority have “better” shifts Scrubbing tanks may have you armpit deep They say everyone is equal and gets paid the same but not everyone put in the same effort, ex: some people don’t do pet care at all or never close or never work truck days
