Pros

1. They treat you with respect 2. You can always go to your manager with anything you need help with and/or are uncomfortable with. 3. You will never get blamed of anything unless they already have prove you've done something (fair treatment) 4, You never have to deal with an animal that makes you uncomfortable 5. All tasks given to you are able to be completed in a timely manner as well as breaks. 6. If for some reason you are having difficulty completing the tasks they always help you when you need it. 7. There are multiple opportunities to prove you should be considered for a promotion or pay raise. 8. You are rarely asked to do anything your managers or seniors won't do themselves. 9. You do have a "blackout" period where you can't request off for the holidays-but they are as fair as possible and let you choose which shift you want. (shifts for holidays are only 4 hrs) unless you'd like to work more, in which they may let you. 10. The customers really like to know that you know their pet, and interacting with them and telling them about the day their pet had is rewarding. 11. Anything extra they see you doing, you do get a small reward.

Cons

1. The starting pay isn't ideal, but higher than most places. 2. Sometimes the hours are long, the dogs won't behave and you are stuck in a day camp yard all day. (Everyone has to take their turn in the yard, it's only fair) If you interact with the animals and actually play with them, time flies. 3. You may not get your break when you want it--but you do get it. 4. Others don't work as hard as certain people and that is frustrating but this happens everywhere. 5. Sometimes Customers take out things on Pet Care and not the Manager (but every time this has happened a senior or manager intervenes.)

Pros

If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

Cons

Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
