Pros
The interaction with dogs is great Many of the pet parents are wonderful and regularly bring treats. You get great customer service experience You learn all the dogs that are regulars and you'll love seeing them walk in! Working holidays, long hours, and stressful times with too few people makes you closer to your peers.
Cons
Seniors have no management perks but are required to run shifts alone. Daycamp is soul crushingly boring, don't expect breaks or a person to relieve you. 15 min. breaks are a joke when you're a Senior, you do well to get a lunch and must manage your own hours for fear of going over weekly hours Speaking of hours, there are never enough. You will be running shifts where its only you and one person in back when daycamp is over. This leaves you running the front desk (associated are rarely cross trained for this) plus your duties as a Senior. You are required to work all holidays and are threatened with write-ups and termination if you're sick.
