They have a Review System where employees are reviewed on a bell curve. HR and Upper Management force Supervisors to rate average, good employees as BAD Employees. You have to to have 4 or 5 employees end up in the "needs improvement" category, even if they are perfectly fine employees. It is demoralizing for everyone.
Company is owned by the Netherlands. So they have these crazy yearly surveys where employees rate Supervisors and Managers. It can get pretty weird. Employee grudges from bad reviews are dealt through the surveys. Supervisors routinely are pushed out when they get a bad survey review from an unhappy employees who the company forces you to give a "needs improvement" review. The entire system is very devious.
