Strong Work-Life Balance: Philips promotes a healthy balance between professional and personal life, with flexible work hours and hybrid/remote options in many roles.
Inclusive culture with open-door policies. Teams are collaborative, and leadership is generally approachable.
Actively promotes diversity in hiring and workplace practices.
Cons
Limited Fast-track Growth: Promotions and role changes can take time unless you actively network and push for internal mobility.
Pay Parity Concerns: Compensation is fair but might lag behind top-paying firms in the same sector.

Thank you for taking the time to look back on the 6 plus years you've worked for our company as Accounting Specialist. It's good to hear that you appreciated the diverse culture at Philips in Chennai and that your experience reflects the open, inclusive and collaborative environment we're striving to create for our people. We're also happy to hear that you were able to maintain a healthy work/life balance and that the flexible hours and the option to work remotely have contributed to this. That you found the opportunities to grow limited (and sometimes time-consuming) and that the salary didn't fully meet your expectations, is of course regrettable, as it’s important to us to offer our employees proper compensation that’s in line with market practices and we’re committed to providing them with a rewarding career. Your feedback is valuable to us and will be used in our continuous efforts to improve. Thank you again for saying a few words about your experience. We wish you all the best with everything you do next.
Thanks for sharing such positive feedback.
It’s wonderful to hear that you're enjoying our company culture, as creating an inclusive and supportive space is at the heart of what we do.
Wishing you continued success in your journey with us!
The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.
Cons
Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
