Pros

Good PTO and Health Benefits. Some really nice people on the team to work with.

Cons

High turnover makes it so there is not a lot of continuity in the processes, and adds to the already high level of disorganization. Senior level people are not involved in day to day processes and this keeps them very disconnected from whats actually going on. Trying to pass off a whole AI narrative for stuff thats half built and not a validated need in the market. A lot of the stuff has already been covered in other reviews.

This is difficult to hear. Regarding the point on padding reviews, we simply invited the team to provide their genuine perspective, whatever that might be. The feedback about the gap between leadership and day-to-day operations hits home, and I won't offer excuses. I own that. Zohar (CEO)

Pros

I love working at Port! It embodies everything I love about being at a startup. Every action from each team member has an immediate impact, and I truly feel like I can move the needle. I feel seen, trusted, and appreciated. I really enjoy my teammates and the company culture. Yes, not everything is planned out 6 months in advance, and sometimes priorities change and you need to adapt. But so does the market. At Port, I feel we’re agile and able to respond quickly rather than getting stuck in bureaucracy. Leadership is a message away and welcomes every employee's ideas and feedback. I don’t think many employees can say they have that level of access and direct communication at other places. It’s one of the things that makes Port such a special place to work.

Cons

I think working on a fast paced startup is not for everyone. Hours can be longer than your typical 9-5 and processes are still not fully mapped out. Can be frustrating but also can give you a chance to help map them out and have an impact.

"I feel seen, trusted, and appreciated" - that's exacly the culture we work hard to build every day. The chaos that comes with growing fast is real, and we know it, happy it feels like opportunity rather than something negative. Zohar (CEO)

Pros

Fast-paced startup environment with exposure to different areas of the business Opportunity to take on responsibility quickly

Cons

No commuter benefits for employees withpublic /ride-sharing transportation. High turnover across teams, which impacts continuity and team stability Onboarding process was very short (around two weeks), making it difficult to fully ramp up Many internal processes were unclear or not well-documented Leadership decisions, including management changes, lacked transparency Communication challenges: team meetings and side conversations were often conducted in a language not understood by everyone in the room, which created an exclusionary environment Management style was overly intrusive and at times crossed professional boundaries, including inappropriate questions about personal matters Limited HR support or clear escalation path for workplace concerns Relocation experience was difficult: after moving, the work environment did not match expectations Contract terms (including a financial penalty for leaving early) made it hard to exit despite concerns Payroll/tax handling issues after relocation were not resolved when raised

Thank you for the detailed feedback. On onboarding, Port moves fast and we know that creates a steep ramp for new hires. That's something we keep improving, not something we accept as fixed. The broader concerns you raised, around transparency, communication standards, and support when things get hard, are ones we've heard and are working on. We're sorry the experience didn't reflect the opportunity that brought you in. Port Team
