Pros

None what so ever.. Disgraceful

Cons

Managers do not listen, when they do they break confidentiality. They laugh at your ideas. Do not get a break told you have to eat with the service users. It's our human right to have an uninterrupted break. Favourites get on up the ladder. Those that do all the work and their work get no recognition. Dirty place to work. Short staffed as they all are leaving slowly. No training or they send you on wrong date. Using service users cars without them in it! for a jolly. Financial abuse this is. Service users left on their own no interaction.

Thank you very much for your review. We take all feedback very seriously and will act on it accordingly to improve our standards and procedures. Some of the comments you have made are extremely serious and I have been in touch with our HR team and they have no record of any of these allegations. Of course if you felt that you were unable to approach the company directly, you have a whistleblowing number which you were given and this would be the appropriate place to raise these concerns - not on Glassdoor. I would like to address some of the points you have raised. We have many instances of Support Workers joining the company and over a period of time becoming a manager and running their own services. These colleagues are not given promotions out of favouritism - they are given the role because they can do the job, they can run a staff team and they will ensure that the lives of our service users will be enhanced. A company such as ours does not have an “Outstanding” rating from CQC by hiring in the way you have suggested. The retention rate in our services is a work in progress however over the past year it has improved dramatically because of enhanced pay rates, support worker forums, improvements in training and improvements to our HR function. To suggest that people are leaving in their droves is not accurate. As I mentioned earlier, Glassdoor is not the place to make such points and I am disappointed that you felt you had to do this. We have an open door policy at Precious Homes and I feel these issues could have been resolved in professional way via the proper channels. Our door is still open to discuss these matters with you if you feel you would like to do so.
