Pros
- Technically speaking, they do it best. How they apply their technical knowledge to make products or perform research and development is second to none. - Challenges you with a diverse work load. - Good work life balance. - Great work environment. - Good salary.
Cons
- If you are working in Research and Development, especially engineer, do not be surprised if you find yourself working on projects that are very far from what you would have wanted to while studying. - A career path within R&D is limited to just that if you are an engineer, thereby forcing you to forfeit chartership plans. - Set career plan, everyone dances to the same corporate tune. Younger employees almost have to trick themselves into believing some of the corporate drivel. -Not for all young people, that is for sure.
