Pros

Company is evolving and creating a lot of incredible initiatives that are adapting to meet the changing needs of customers, but more importantly the needs of the employees.

Cons

Change starts from the individual and require ownership. Some people may not used to a leadership team that provides authentic autonomy. If there’s something you want changed or created, you have to take charge and see it through.

Pros

I've been with the company long enough to know how great of an opportunity it is to constantly evolve with the latest technology and digital trends, while working with the solid foundation that is the home service industry. It's truly a great place to both start and continue a career. While challenging at many times, the leadership in place is working to make this a great company.

Cons

The merger, and more significantly, shake ups in leadership, have certainly been challenging. The velocity in which both technology and business structures (i.e., private equity acquisitions everywhere) have made client success a difficult path to navigate.

Pros

No? This is a joke right?

Cons

This role initially felt like the answer to my prayers, but it quickly became one of the most disappointing professional experiences I’ve had. The extremely high turnover is not a coincidence it reflects deeper issues with leadership and overall culture. Many of the leaders with strong experience and integrity have already left. What remains is a leadership team that often lacks transparency, honesty, lacks qualifications, avoids accountability, and appears unprepared to effectively lead teams through challenges. There is a noticeable pattern of overpromising to employees, whether around stability, growth, bonuses, or expanded responsibilities …only for those same employees to be let go shortly after. The timing and communication around these decisions feel inconsistent at best, and at worst, intentionally misleading and unethical. Layoffs are handled in a way that feels impersonal and disconnected from the real impact on people’s lives. Jobs are people’s livelihoods, and communication during difficult moments matters. Unfortunately, there was a consistent lack of directness and honesty, paired with an avoidance of difficult conversations and simply caring. What stood out most was the absence of real leadership. Instead of coaching, supporting, and advocating for their teams, there was often a lack of true help and engagement. Most times, it felt like more energy was spent discussing/ gossiping about employees than actually helping them succeed. I also observed concerning patterns in how clients were managed, including a lack of transparency and dishonesty which raises questions about long-term trust and sustainability. Overall, the organization feels unstable and poorly led. Anyone considering joining or currently there should take a close look at the environment and leadership structure before making long-term decisions.
