Pros
-Supportive of work-life balance -Better than avg. number of vacation days and holidays off -Moving to better and more modern offices in NYC and White Plains, NY -Trying to come up with innovative products that take advantage of mobile and social media networks -Mostly people in the Pleasantville office are nice and there isn't much antagonism that you see in other media companies -CEO makes an effort to meet with all levels of employees
Cons
-Constant lay-offs as a result decreasing profits and mismanagement of corporate initiatives -Executives still trying to figure out if RD is a publishing company, direct marketing company or a new media company -No room for growth for lower-level employees and hardly any training of employees to help them -Too many satellite offices and lack of communication among them -Too top heavy for a small company and the executive salaries are out of control
