Pros

Nice supervisor; credit card for gas purchases, cell phone allowance

Cons

Shady dealings with management; was laid off soon after I received a stellar evaluation but was told that one of their major client's did not want new Reboot employees working there any more. I thought that was odd and to add to it I contacted another and newer employee after my layoff and he was still working and at the same client who didn't want new employees. Personally, I think I was let go for bringing to upper management's attention (and we were always told we could freely do this) my opinion on how they were processing PC's waiting to be distributed. Soon after that I was let go. They didn't even tell me that I was subject to be rehired if the company needed me back. Then there is the training aspect, or lack thereof. I was assigned one senior Reboot tech, who had a terrible attitude problem when you make a mistake, but to make it worse the tech was seldom available for my training since he was too busy responding to client calls and such. My training went painfully slow and at times it was hard to even keep busy at my desk since no one even bothered to assist me while the tech was busy. How can you excel in the company or even pass their "Boot Camp" of training if there is no one available to assist you? Ridiculous! Also, they use their own type of software to assist clients with and the funny thing is you cannot use it for all clients! So you have to learn several instances of software, all proprietary to Reboot Networks, in order to assist clients. Very bad on management's part! Lastly, staff; only a select few made me feel welcomed. Senior staff have God complex issues since they think they know it all and they don't mind looking down on those who have less experience. Management can be combative at times and as stated before, sneaky and not upfront and honest. I'm sure of you are considering working at Reboot, you can do better!

Pros

Reboot provides excellent, best-in-class managed information technology and cybersecurity services for small businesses. Their technical acumen, developed through more than 20 years in the business, is excellent and driven top-down by management. As an employee, it feels good to work for a firm who is genuinely interested in doing good for their clients and the world at large. There are plenty of opportunities for career growth and skills acquisition. Corporate culture is great and not overbearing - they make sure there are lots of opportunities for employees to meet and interact and support each other. Reboot truly makes you feel like you're a human being first and employee second. Work/life balance is important and respected.

Cons

I truly can't think of any downsides to working for Reboot. Professionally and personally, the company has been great to work for.
