      Good place to pass, bad place to stay - Software Engineer Revolut Employee Review

      Pros

      Good place to learn. Technically it's a great product, with focus on constantly evolving and improving. Engineering team has many greatly skilled individuals.

      Cons

      Hard to progress in career. Salary reviews are only based on a performance grade, and the highest performance grade are given from managers that only seem to value extra work. So no extra working hours means no salary review past the initial salary. Minimum benefits, don't even try to adapt the benefits to each country where the company operates.

      + Everyone knows Revolut - easier conversations. + Product is top tier. + Good benefits. + Good on your resume.

      Cons

      - Poor sales leadership - for a company so successful, very shocked at the low calibre of talent in senior sales roles. But product is so strong and they are not measured on employee retention so impossible for them to fail. - Tech stack minimal. - Large elements of favouritism.
