Pros

The level of autonomy and empowerment here is real, not just something they put in a slide deck. You're trusted to move fast, take ownership, and lead without waiting for permission. There's genuine opportunity to influence how the company operates and grows, not just execute someone else's playbook. The culture is highly supportive, and the people are wickedly smart and eager to solve hard problems. It feels like driving a speedboat with a crew that actually wants to be there.

Cons

This is not a place to coast. R&P is ambitious, moves fast, and takes on genuinely complex work. You have to be driven and hungry to keep up. If you're looking for a slower pace or a well-worn playbook, you'll struggle. The work is often bespoke by nature, which creates real opportunity but also requires you to build things from scratch more often than not.

Pros

R&P is on the cutting edge of AI and emerging technology. You’re not just talking about the future of AI—you’re actively building it, which is really exciting and fun. Leadership hires smart people and trusts them to think for themselves, which was one of the things that stood out to me from day one. Leadership truly cares about and invests in its people. There is also a wide range of diverse talent across the company, which creates a really strong environment for learning, collaboration, and bringing different perspectives to the work. The pace is fast, there is very little red tape, and if you have an idea, you’re encouraged to bring it forward, ask hard questions, and contribute. There are a lot of opportunities to learn, stretch yourself, and step outside your comfort zone. Benefits are excellent and remote environment is great.

Cons

Fast-paced nature of the work is exciting but also requires a high level of adaptability. As a rapidly growing company, some processes are still evolving and can vary between teams or projects. Because employees are spread across many different time zones, working against deadlines can sometimes be challenging. And, by nature of consulting, when there is a deadline, the team works toward it—even if that occasionally means working a little outside of normal business hours.
