Office culture was sales led and often personality clashes became physical.
Middle management would think nothing of sacking staff and then seizing their pipeline to earn money.
Top earners were forced out and commissions became insanely hard to obtain.
High pressure and risk of sacking made it almost impossible to take holiday - in my last year I took a week all year.

Pros
Well-meaning colleagues, some very talented.
Mid to Senior-level salaries aren't bad for local firm.
Cons
Senior management is non-existent, and when they are involved it's only to take too long to make bad decisions.
A family-run firm with zero family atmosphere or energy from CEO.
Questionable behaviour from senior team - many staff complaints and high staff turnover.
