Pros

12hr Shifts Online Schedule Immediately Hiring Paid Training

Cons

No work/home Balance Crappy benefits the include expensive deductibles on insurance Eye insurance won't cover 95% of glasses/exam Accrued PTO but won't be able to take it due to staffing issues No incentives to pick up extra shifts Required to work all holidays because of staffing even if it falls on a day that you are not scheduled to work normally. bugged 24/7 by text and phone calls to pick up extra shifts but given no incentives to do so Supervisors only make $2 more over the BASE PAY of an ENTRY LEVEL BHT ($13hr) and are expected to supervise up to 15-20 employees on their shift throughout an entire Crisis/Detox hospital on top of working a unit like a normal BHT due to staffing. Ocala location was recently acquired by SMA Healthcare through a buyout (bailout) and there are literally no employees left. It's all run by Agency who sleep on their shifts and don't care about the patients. It's become extremely dangerous and SMA provides no answers in the meetings that are held other than "were holding job fairs". Sometimes out of ratio legally with patients and staff and there's no one to help. Local law enforcement are getting fed up and are not responding to the location for help due to the amount of calls being placed from the facility. If you are looking for mental health help PLEASE go someplace else. It's not safe for patients or staff. Company gave all employees of the Ocala location men's uniform shirts because the women's that they had picked out were too revealing in the chest area. Instead of changing the uniform they made all women wear men's shirts that are baggy and unprofessional looking for a medical facility. SMA Staff who are left call out regularly leaving other staff to pick up slack on top of being severely understaffed to begin with. 2 BHT's are normally responsible for upwards of 30 CRISIS patients on some days on one unit without help from any of the nurses unless they feel personally threatened. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING HERE UNTIL THEY CAN FIX THEIR STAFFING AND MORALE ISSUES!!

Pros

THE CLIENT’S. They are the reason you tey so hard. They need you to get passed all the old people that have been there for a while who fake laugh and fake being thier friend. Who fake tey to help them. Just lie about everyone and everything

Cons

CSS Manager/Her manager MICROMANAGEMENT. Driving you to a breaking point & never having your back. 3 Diffrent Management/dept are constantly telling to do something & at the same time telling you what you did wrong, while not being at the facility you are working at. Skip this job & work at pizza hut! Employees that have been there long time All have a CLIQUE. MANAGEMENT stays on your back Unless the CLIQUES accept you into the group. Silliest place i have ever encountered. Providers are the same way, nurses too. Will run you in the ground with whatever. Feom blaming you for your training. Because you didn't question to Management how you were trained. Will flip everything on you due to their EGO inflated selves, Due to the EGO they will make you bow down to them every chance you get. HR does nothing for you, will say they don't tell Management what you say, But, will Tell your managers everything you say! CSS manager will try scare tactics to make you tell on coworkers, saying: if you don't tell me I'll still find out. I have a master's degree in Criminology! I will find out! Then stare at you without blinking. Then try to be your best friend, only to flip later. I could say more: Just find another place to work. St Augustine Palatka Daytona are the most horrendous places to work. It a miney hunger place. Only in it for the $ coins. To make their mortgage payments. They have no heart. A Huge turn over rate!
