Pros

Remarkable Team: Worked with an exceptional team that made the experience meaningful and enjoyable. Opportunities for Feedback: Employees had numerous opportunities to provide feedback directly to leadership. Unique Benefits: The company offers distinctive benefits that contribute to an appealing workplace culture, though many have quietly changed or been reduced.

Cons

Brutal Layoff: Sudden and large-scale layoffs blindsided workers, including essential contributors to meaningful work and positive culture. Leadership Transparency: It appeared that leadership hid financial struggles and continued hiring despite an unsustainable revenue stream. Ignored Feedback: Leadership consistently failed to act on employee feedback, leading to tension, mistrust, and uncertainty. Declining Benefits and Culture: Benefits that once set the company apart were quietly reduced or changed without warning, reflecting a broader decline as the company evolved.

Pros

The people are still the strongest part of the company. There are many talented, collaborative individuals who genuinely care about doing great work and supporting customers.

Cons

What was once known for strong work-life balance has shifted significantly. The current environment feels unsustainable, with increasing pressure and expectations that are not matched by compensation. The sales compensation structure has become particularly challenging. Commission is now split between individual performance and a team-based metric, where payouts depend on the broader organization hitting specific thresholds. In practice, if company-wide targets are missed, a significant portion of compensation is never realized—regardless of individual performance. This has led to many employees relying primarily on base salary. Leadership decisions have increasingly felt disconnected from market demand and frontline realities. There is a growing perception that strategic direction is inconsistent, which has impacted morale and confidence in the company’s future. Frequent layoffs have also created instability. In some cases, high-performing and knowledgeable employees have been let go, further impacting the organization’s ability to execute effectively.
