Undergoing major organizational change - Operations Seesaw Employee Review

Pros

The company offers the typical array of startup benefits like unlimited PTO, generous parental leave, etc. They also have Mindfulness Fridays, which is a personal day on the first Friday of every month.

Cons

A new CEO came on board in May of 2023 and, as one would expect, is changing the direction of the company. While he said there wouldn't be layoffs, there were layoffs in July 2023 and likely more to come in Q4 2023. There is a big disconnect between the vision of the new leadership and the reality on the ground from the employees who have been there for years.

Pros

- Upper management will say all the right things to keep you happy. - I ended up with two stellar letters of recommendation from my managers.

Cons

- Nothing I was told in terms of upward mobility at the company ever came to fruition. When they realized I was doing good work I was strung along with contract extensions and the promise of a full time position for two years.
