Good Startup but low salaires - Anonymous employee Singulart Employee Review

Singulart has great potential to be on the top of e-commerce art sales.

Lack of strategy. Every 30-60 days the focus shifts. Management does not take advice from employees who have experience in the industry. The founders are not involved unless they are exploring new ideas. Management is under qualified and have their jobs because of personal relationships with the founders.

They used to be honorable.

They exploit artists by charging them monthly subscription as well as 50 per cent commission! I am an artist that has sold work on their site and currently have over 500 pieces online, yet they are threatening to pull the plug and remove all my images if I don't comply to one of their new mandatory" subscription plans" . They now want to charge me $149..99/month and 50 per cent commission for services I previously received for free! After years of expending time and energy to build my portfolio on there site...this is what they do to the artists they supposedly care about? Forget that ! Ill stick to Saatchi and other sites that at least give artists an even break.
